Anfang und Ende sind nichts als Momente in Kreisläufen. Ist erst mal geklärt, dass der Nebel, der Morgentau, der Dunst, die Wolken und auch der Regen Teil des Flusses sind, wird die Festlegung auf Quelle und Mündung als Anfang und Ende bedeutungslos. Flusslandschaften sind Lebensräume, die für unterschiedliche Lebensformen grundlegend wohlwollend sind. Mittendrin sitzen, Teil sein.

Beginning and end are nothing but moments in cycles. Once it is clear that the mist, the morning dew, the haze, the clouds and even the rain are all part of the river, defining the source and the mouth as the beginning and the end becomes meaningless. River landscapes are habitats that are fundamentally benevolent towards different forms of life. To sit right in the midst of it, to be part of it.
